Con profundo amor y tristeza anunciamos el fallecimiento de Roberto Quintero, quien partió el 22 de Febrero de 2026 a la edad de 80 años en Sacramento, California. Estuvo rodeado de sus seres queridos al momento de su partida.

Roberto nació el 10 de Marzo de 1945 en La Piedad, Michoacan, México, hijo de Luis y Elisa. Dedicó su vida a su familia, sus amigos, la jardinería, y a dejar una huella duradera en todas las personas que conocía. Fue un hombre sencillo y amoroso que apreciaba la vida al aire libre, especialmente a través de su trabajo en la agricultura.

Será recordado por las muchas vidas que tocó, incluyendo a sus nietos, sobrinos, hijos, hijastros, amigos, familiares políticos, primos y muchas personas más. Fue un hombre amable y gentil que brindó alegría a quienes lo rodeaban. Le encantaba pasar tiempo con sus nietos, ver fútbol, jugar fútbol en su juventud y escuchar a Ramón Ayala. También disfrutaba ir a Walmart, saborear su sopa de pollo, andar en bicicleta y estar con sus hijos.

Le sobreviven sus hijos Guillermo, Jose, Ramon, Anna, Maria, Chela, Isabel y Guadalupe; sus nietos; sus hermanos; familiares políticos; hijastros; y muchos otros familiares y amigos que lo extrañarán profundamente.

Se llevará a cabo una celebración de vida el 27 de Febrero en Holy Cross en West Sacramento. El velorio será de 12:00 p.m. a 1:30 p.m., seguido del Rosario a la 1:30 p.m. y la Misa a las 2:00 p.m.

Su amor y su legado vivirán por siempre en todos los que lo conocieron.

It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of Roberto Quintero, who passed away on February 22, 2026, at the age of 80 in Sacramento, California. He was surrounded by his loved ones at the time of his passing.

Roberto was born on March 10, 1945, in La Piedad, Michoacan, México, to his parents, Luis and Elisa. He spent his life devoted to his family, friends, gardening, and leaving a lasting impression on those he met wherever he went. He was a simple and loving man who cherished the outdoors, especially through his work in farming.

He will be remembered for the many lives he touched, including his grandchildren, nieces, nephews, children, stepchildren, friends, in-laws, cousins, and many others. He was a kind and gentle man who brought joy to those around him. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, watching soccer, playing soccer in his younger years, and listening to Ramón Ayala. He also enjoyed going to Walmart, savoring his chicken soup, riding his bike, and being with his children.

He is survived by his children Guillermo, Jose, Ramon, Anna, Maria, Chela, Isabel, and Guadalupe; his grandchildren; siblings; in-laws; stepchildren; and many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

A celebration of life will be held on February 27th at Holy Cross in West Sacramento. The viewing will take place from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM, followed by the Rosary at 1:30 PM and Mass at 2:00 PM.

His love and legacy will live on in all who knew him.
