Lisa Ostman (Lucero), beloved mother, daughter, and friend, passed away peacefully in Sacramento, California on July 23, 2025, at the age of 62.
Born and raised in Courtland, California, Lisa was a proud Delta girl who cherished her roots and community. She later made her home in Galt, where she raised her two sons, Alex and Bryant Lucero, who were the center of her world.
Lisa had a gentle and giving spirit, known for her deep love of animals. Whether it was caring for pets, rescuing strays, or simply stopping to feed a wandering cat, she had an innate ability to connect with creatures great and small. Her compassion extended to all who knew her — family, friends, and even strangers.
Lisa’s strength, kindness, and sense of humor will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and unwavering devotion to her children.
A private service will be held by the family. In honor of Lisa’s love for animals, the family asks that donations be made to your local animal shelter or rescue in her name.
Rest in peace, Lisa. You are forever in our hearts.
