On February 24th 1950 In Oakland, California LaRue Ann Ford was welcomed into this world by her Loving parents Algrie C. & Illinois B. Ford. In 1953 the family moved to Sacramento, where LaRue attended Fruitridge Elementary, Peter Lassen Junior High and Stanford high School. LaRue and the family attended Christ Temple Missionary Baptist Church in Sacramento, CA as a child.
The family later moved to Lompoc, California where LaRue gave birth to her first and only child Carlos Bartholomew. After returning back to Sacramento several years later in her adult years LaRue was an active member and part of the choir at St. James Holy Missionary Baptist Church.
GRANDMA LARUE loved all her grandchildren and showered them with gifts when she could. She was more present for some than others, but loved them all equally. Even when others couldn't be present she was. She loved Church and sitting outside. Her favorite chocolate was Reese's pieces. She was out spoken, full of love and stated whatever was on her mind(Feisty)LOL. Her laugh was like no other and she didn't play around about it when came to her TV Shows. And surprisingly she was really funny and a strong human being. She shined so bright even on her darkest days, she was unbreakable. GRANDMA LARUE was and will always be forever Loved and treasured in our hearts.
