Earlie “EB” McCraw of Sacramento, California, passed away peacefully at the age of 89. He was born on April 24, 1937, in Pontotoc, Mississippi, to Cleve McCraw and Bessie Hollis.
EB proudly served in the United States Army and received an honorable discharge. He began his career with International Harvester in Indianapolis, Indiana, and later relocated to California, where he made Berkeley his home.
In 1967, EB began his college journey at Merritt College, where he earned his AA degree. He continued his education at Cal Poly Pomona, studying Engineering. He went on to work as a Housing Inspector for the City of Berkeley for over 25 years.
EB was a longtime member of the Vagabond MC Motorcycle Club. He retired his chopper, designed, built and rode a beautiful trike. He loved fishing, boating, and working as a mechanic by trade.
He was preceded in death by his parents and four siblings. EB will be deeply missed by his sister, Effie Bailey; his brother, Thomas “JD” McCraw; his beloved children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends near and far.
