Douglas Alvin Currie Jr. passed away peacefully on October 20, 2025, at the age of 37.
He is survived by his parents, Geneva and Doug Sr.; brothers, Jason and Alvin; his nieces and nephew; as well as many cousins, aunts, and his grandmother.

Doug was known for his big heart, kindness, and unwavering loyalty. Though often private and reserved, he had a warmth that drew people in and a steady presence that made others feel understood and cared for. Always ready to lend a helping hand or a listening ear, Doug was someone you could truly count on.

A proud fan of the Minnesota Vikings and an avid lover of the outdoors, Doug found joy in hunting, fishing, camping, and attending country concerts. He cherished every moment spent with his family, friends, and cousins.

Doug will be remembered for his loving spirit, his easy smile, and the way he made everyone around him feel valued and supported. His presence will be deeply missed but forever cherished in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

May his soul rest in peace, and may his memory live on through the love he shared.
