Arluster Armstrong who was 89, of Sacramento, California peacefully entered into
eternal rest on September 2nd , 2025. Arluster’s life will forever be cherished and
remembered by his 7 children, Bernardine, Sonia, Shelia, Martha, Jack, Myron, and
Alan as well as his 30 grandchildren, great grandchildren, and multiple friends and
neighbors.
Al, as many called him, lived his life to the fullest. After High School, Al joined the
United States Air Force. He worked and retired from Civil Service and further used his
lifetime teaching credentials to teach, support, and encourage youths from Preschool,
and Kinder through High School.
Al loved all sports especially baseball and basketball. Throughout his life, he enjoyed
coaching youths in sports especially little league baseball and youth basketball. His
passions and interests included traveling and cooking. Al was also a member of the
Masonic Masons. Often, Arluster made everyone who knew him laugh at the many
stories he shared.
Our family is grateful to know he is finally at peace.
