ANTHONY CLAY’S OBITUARY
Anthony, he professed a hope in Christ, with the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, at an early age, under the leadership of the late Reverend William Health.
Anthony was educated in the Des Moines Independent Public School System. When he joined the United States Marines and served, he received a medal for his armory skills. He was preceded in death by his father Bernard LaVerne Clay, his mother Norma Jean, grandfather, officially known as Cricket, his beloved grandmother Helen Cross Clay, his sister Carla Walker Davis, his sister Audrey Thomas, his uncles James Alfred Clay, Robert Fowler, Newton, Thomas Clay, Malcolm Guinn, his aunts Rose, Edmonds, Darlene Woods and Donna Jean Heard.
He is survived by his wife, Chiara Moore, his two sons, Davario Moore and Cammarrey Colvin, his daughter, Jayla Colvin from California, and by his sister Ramona Haygood, from Des Moines, Iowa. Nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Anthony loved spending time with his family, drawing comics, and watching movies.
