Angelo was born on December 25, 1984. Born on Christmas Day, he was already a special gift in his own right — so you can only imagine how much he wanted the day to be all about him.
Angelo was preceded in death by his loving mother, Ana Peña-Zagal and father Philip Morales . He is survived by his children, his wife, his brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, an aunt, and a host of cousins, and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
Throughout his life, Angelo faced numerous challenges, but he consistently managed to persevere. Whether it was working hard at his jobs or striving to elevate himself in different aspects of life, he never settled for less. He always fought to be better, no matter what. Right before his passing, he had taken a big step toward change by enrolling at UEI College, with plans to build a better future for himself.
Losing his mother in 1998 at age 14 deeply affected him. That pain followed him for years and shaped much of who he was. Like many trying to find their way, Angelo turned to the streets and lived fast — he was a party animal, full of energy, always on the move, and always chasing a good time. That street life taught him a lot about survival and loyalty, but it also brought him through some tough lessons that helped him grow into the man he would become.
When Angelo became a father, everything changed. His children gave him purpose and grounded him in ways he never expected. The wild energy he once carried turned into love, responsibility, and pride for his family. He became more family-oriented, protective, and determined to do better — not just for himself, but for them!
He was known for his unforgettable attitude, his stubbornness, and yes — even his selfish ways at times — but that was part of what made him the man he was. He loved music, especially Mac Dre. When Mac Dre came on, you already knew what to expect — that hand going up in the air and that head moving left and right. He was a protector of his family, especially of his kids and nieces and nephews . With his larger-than-life personality, sense of humor, and all-around vibe, Angelo was one of those people you could never forget. His presence could light up any room.
We will remember him for his strong will to live and his heart that showed us no matter what happens in life, you must keep fighting for better. Through the ups and downs, Angelo left an impact on everyone he met — good or bad — but one thing is certain: you would never forget him. His presence, his lessons, and his love will continue to live on in everyone who knew and loved him.
We love you, Angelo — your light, your laughter, and your energy will forever live within us. Until we meet again, rest easy and know that your memory will never fade.
Any monetary contributions to the funeral expense can be made directly to Evergreen Memorial or Angelo's brother Alex. Thank you
