Sergio Humberto Mendiola

Sergio Humberto Mendiola, born on March 12, 1953, in Donna, Texas, peacefully passed away on February 14, 2024, at his home. He was preceded in death by his father, Fidel Mendiola, and his sisters, Cynthia Tarmann and Sandra Hinojos. Sergio is survived by his children, Mercedes Escamilla, Leticia Perez, Arnold Naranjo, and Angie Kain, his loving mother, Elvira Mendiola, his sisters, Eunice Harms and Ruth Mendiola, as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Sergio served in the United States Marine Corps, earning accolades such as the Rifle Expert Badge and the National Defense Service Medal. Post-military service, he pursued a career in carpentry and dedicated himself to community service, notably at Emanuel United Methodist Church. Sergio's infectious smile, dependable nature, and artistic talents touched the lives of many, leaving behind cherished memories. He will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. Until we meet again...

Sergio Humberto Mendiola, nacido el 12 de marzo de 1953, en Donna, Texas, falleció pacíficamente el 14 de febrero de 2024, en su casa. Fue precedido en la muerte por su padre, Fidel Mendiola, y sus hermanas, Cynthia Tarmann y Sandra Hinojos. A Sergio le sobreviven sus hijos, Mercedes Escamilla, Leticia Pérez, Arnold Naranjo y Angie Kain, su querida madre, Elvira Mendiola, sus hermanas, Eunice Harms y Ruth Mendiola, así como numerosos nietos, bisnietos, sobrinas y sobrinos.
