Anita Maxine Edwards, 76, formerly of Blackfoot, Idaho, passed away peacefully June 22, 2021, surrounded by friends and family at Spring Hill Manor Rehabilitation in Grass Valley California.
She was born March 11, 1945, in Huntington, Oregon to Ralph and Opal Anderson. She made it through 8th grade and later received her G.E.D. She married Donald Clark Williams April 13, 1963, and they had five children together.
Anita Edwards was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, June 1962. Her faith was a fine example to many. She was able to visit Bethel in New York with her two daughters Debbie and Teresa.
Anita loved to listen to Richard Clayderman; sit down with a good book; watch Anne of Green Gales; and play cards with her friends.
She loved going out in service and teaching others about Jehovah. She enjoyed going to Assemblies and Conventions and going out to eat with friends afterwards.
She was a friend to many, she especially loved caring for the older ones in the congregation and always made herself available to help them, she loved doing that. She had a gift for it.
Anita is survived by her children, Ben Williams, Debbie Shoemaker, Teresa Bell, Michael Williams and Doug Williams. Grandchildren: Charlie, Lola, Courtnee, Jake, Adam, Tristin, Quintin, Logan, Garrett and Abigail, 7 great grandchildren and 4 siblings.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Opal Anderson; Brothers, Daniel, Darrell, Carl and Christopher and sister Bonie Jene and her son in law Thad Bell.
